Strategies deployed

Identifying new possible keyword opportunities.
The first thing we wanted to do was find all the other easy-win keywords that we could be capitalizing on and weren’t. Keywords that included the term ‘for black men’ seemingly were relevant to Scotch Porter, had lots of search volume and little to no competition.
Creating duplicate product pages for the same product.
To target these tangential keyword verticals, we duplicated product pages and used the duplicates to target the ‘for black men’ keywords, repositioning the duplicates as specific to this category. We supplemented this with canonicals to prevent page cannibalization.
Adding in product schemas to begin expanding visibility.
To add to our growth, we wanted to maximize our visibility. This meant adding product schemas so that we could start getting more impressions and clicks from Google’s product listing sections.
