This policy explains what personal data Mamba Agency collects through mamba.agency, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Mamba Agency is operated by Mamba Marketing Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We work with clients across Singapore, the UAE, Australia, the United States and Europe.
When you submit our contact form or request a free audit, we collect your first name, work email, how you found us, and whatever you write in the message field. If you tick the newsletter box we also record that you opted in. If you ask for an audit, we additionally look at your website and the competitors you name, using publicly available data and third-party SEO tools. We do not need access to your own systems to do this.
As you browse, we record the campaign, source and referrer that brought you here, so that an enquiry can be attributed correctly. This is held in first-party cookies prefixed with mamba_ for up to 90 days, and in hidden UTM and gclid fields on our forms. Our host and analytics tools also process technical data such as IP address, browser and pages viewed. Our Cookie Policy sets out each cookie in detail.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR requires us to have a legal basis. We rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, when you ask for an audit or a proposal. We rely on legitimate interests to operate and secure the site and to respond to business enquiries, having weighed that against your rights. We rely on your consent for marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time. And we rely on legal obligation where we are required to keep records. In Singapore we rely on your consent under the Personal Data Protection Act, given when you submit a form, and on the exceptions the Act allows for business contact information.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it with the providers who help us run the business: Webflow, which hosts this site, and HubSpot, which holds our contact records and sends our email. We also use third-party SEO tools to produce audits, which analyse public data about your website rather than your personal data. Each acts on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.
We are a Singapore company working across several markets, and our providers are largely based in the United States. Your data will therefore be processed outside the country you live in. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK we rely on the standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose. Where it leaves Singapore we take steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection, as the Personal Data Protection Act requires.
Attribution cookies expire after 90 days. Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and then six years, which is what tax and legal record keeping requires. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or ask us to send it to another provider. You can object to processing we base on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent to marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. We will respond within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Singapore that is the Personal Data Protection Commission.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data, and we limit access to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
This site is aimed at business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy as our business and the tools we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and we will make any significant change clear on the site.
