About the client
Gemini is a cryptocurrency exchange operating across multiple regulated markets. The work here was scoped to Singapore, one of the most competitive and most heavily regulated crypto markets in the world, where buyers compare exchanges on licensing and custody before they compare them on fees.

Challenge
Gemini had global domain authority and almost no Singapore visibility to show for it. In the four months before the engagement the site averaged 4,250 organic sessions a month from Singapore, against a domain that ranks comfortably in its home market.
That gap is a common one for a global platform. The domain is strong, but the pages answering a Singapore buyer’s questions either do not exist or are written for somewhere else. A searcher comparing regulated exchanges in Singapore is asking a different question from one comparing them in the United States, and a global page does not answer it.
[SOLUTION]
Solution
01 || Give Singapore its own pages. || Rather than letting Singapore traffic land on global defaults, we built and optimised market specific pages so a Singapore searcher reached content written for Singapore.
02 || Target the queries a Singapore buyer actually types. || Keyword research was rebuilt on local demand, covering exchange comparisons, regulatory and licensing questions and local payment methods, rather than translating a United States keyword set.
03 || Make the global authority count locally. || Internal linking and technical signals were adjusted so the domain’s existing strength flowed into the Singapore pages instead of stopping at the global ones.

Results
Singapore organic sessions rose from 3,667 in the month before the engagement to 12,479 by June 2025, a gain of 240%. Measured against the steadier four month pre-engagement average of 4,250, the gain was 194%.
Monthly organic traffic value in Singapore rose from $4,017 to $10,562 in equivalent paid search spend, up 163%. Across the engagement the site earned roughly 77,800 organic sessions from Singapore.
The speed is the part worth noting. Singapore sessions more than doubled in the first month, which is unusual and only possible because the domain authority was already there. The work was not building authority, it was pointing existing authority at the right pages.
Looking ahead
The engagement concluded in mid 2025. Singapore organic visibility has declined considerably since, and the market now sits below where it started.
For a global platform entering a regulated market, that is the honest lesson. Local visibility is not a one time build. The pages hold their shape, but the position does not survive without someone maintaining it against local competitors who never stopped.
