About the client
Kruger Cowne connects businesses and event organisers with keynote speakers, musicians, broadcasters and industry experts. The buyer is a corporate or agency decision maker with the budget and authority to book talent, not an aspiring speaker, and the search behaviour of those two groups could not be more different.

Challenge
Kruger Cowne had the roster and the reputation. What it did not have was a site Google could navigate confidently. The audit found orphan pages, page depth problems, redirect chains, missing hreflang attributes, slow loading templates and metadata gaps across both priority and secondary pages.
The commercial problem was sharper. A speaker bureau competes for queries that describe a need rather than a name. Someone booking for a conference searches for a resilience speaker or a mental health speaker, not for the agency that represents one. Those category pages either did not exist or were too thin to rank.
Seasonality made everything harder to read. Traffic swung between 1,100 and 3,100 a month in the five months before we started, so any single month was a poor measure of anything.
[SOLUTION]
Solution
01 || Make the site navigable. || Orphan pages were linked back into the structure, click depth was reduced, redirect chains and hreflang gaps were resolved, and titles and meta descriptions were rewritten across priority and secondary pages.
02 || Build the pages buyers actually search for. || We built and deepened category pages around the terms event bookers use, including resilience speakers, motivational speakers and mental health speakers, each mapped to real UK search volume and linked into the relevant roster.
03 || Scale content without losing the voice. || We documented the brand voice, the ICP and the style rules, then produced against them at volume so output stayed consistent as it grew.

Results
Organic traffic reached 4,612 sessions in September 2025, against a pre-engagement average of 2,132 a month, a gain of 116%. Measured against the single month before we started, which was a stronger month than average, the gain was 60%. Both figures are in the sidebar because a seasonal site deserves both.
Monthly organic traffic value rose from roughly $630 to roughly $1,800 in equivalent paid search spend, a gain of 186%. Value grew faster than volume, which means the traffic moved toward the commercial queries that put a booking enquiry on the table.
In total the site has delivered around 77,900 organic sessions since November 2024.
Looking ahead
This is a seasonal business and the chart shows it. Traffic peaked in September 2025, held near that level through January 2026, then fell sharply through the spring before recovering across the summer.
The current focus is reducing that volatility by deepening the category pages that hold position year round, rather than relying on the pages that spike with the events calendar.
Figures are Ahrefs estimated organic traffic and traffic value for krugercowne.com including subdomains, measured October 2026. The pre-engagement baseline is the five month average from June to October 2024.
